Wellness Rituals and Practices for Gemini Season

Gemini season is here and it is ready to party. Last month, Taurus turned us inward — but now we’re going to let airy Gemini feed our curiosity and nurture our playful side. These rituals are designed to light a spark within and get you ready for some adventure.

Take a day trip

Mix things up a little bit with some light travel! Either hit a nearby town you haven’t been to or just head out and see where the road takes you. Either way, don’t be afraid to follow your whims. If you’re a more planning-focused person, you could do a little research in advance, but leave plenty of room for curiosity and surprise.

Find your balance

Negotiate your relationship with the air and the earth by adding some extra balance to your yoga practice. Maybe add an extra challenge to balancing poses you already like, like these Half Moon variations, or get some ideas from a balance-focused practice on Alo Moves. These classes and series are a great place to start:

SING YOUR HEART OUT

Gemini season is all about unleashing creative energy, and singing is a great way for pretty much anybody to let it out — regardless of how you feel about your singing ability. Doing some karaoke with friends is ideal, but if that’s not your vibe, sing in the shower! Sing to your pet! Sing along to that song that’s always in your head!

Snap some selfies

You are your own canvas. Do your makeup or hair in a way you’ve always wanted to try. Get your nails done. Wear a wild outfit. Then show it all off in your own personal photoshoot! There’s no need to actually post them on Instagram, but it’s highly encouraged if the photos make you feel good.

Turn workouts into playtime

Step away from your regular routine and try something new and fun — activities like boxing, dance, or even roller skating can turn your workout into an adventure, and learning a new skill you’re really, really excited about can bring a whole new energy to your workout.
