8 No-Jumping Apartment Workouts If You’re on the Top Floor

Picture this: You’re in your workout gear at home, you loaded the perfect at-home fitness class, and then after you press play, you realize there are jumping jacks! Burpees! Squat Jumps! High-Knees! The floor of your apartment is shaking trying to get through it — much to the annoyance of your downstairs neighbor.

Jumping workouts get your heart rate up and are great for cardio, but sometimes you might want to do some, well, quieter exercises to be more mindful of people in your apartment building. Also, just because certain moves don’t involve jumps and quick up-and-down motions doesn’t mean that they’re not intense or give you less of a sweat. We’ve created a helpful playlist, which includes 12 no-jumping, apartment-friendly workouts. That’s almost five hours of classes to choose from! Your downstairs neighbor will get more peace and quiet, and you’ll still get in your fitness for the day. That’s what we call a win-win.

Keep scrolling for some apartment-friendly, no-jumping workouts, straight from our Alo Moves instructors.
