Caley Alyssa's Sweet Green Spring Smoothie

Welcome the fresh greens of spring with a delicious, detoxifying smoothie recipe from Alo Moves instructor Caley Alyssa. It’s packed with antioxidants, fiber, and probiotics to help you feel your best and give you a healthy start for the new season.

According to Medical News Today, “A diet rich in fruits, veggies, healthful proteins, fats, and fibrous carbohydrates promotes the natural detoxification system in the body and creates overall balance.” This nutrient-rich smoothie recipe provides all of the ingredients you need to give you a boost after a workout and aid your body’s natural detoxing capabilities, like:

  • Dates - Rich in fiber and antioxidants

  • Mango -  Provides 70% of your RDI (Referenced Daily Intake) of vitamin C

  • Blueberries -  Nutrient-dense, and have one of the highest antioxidant density of all fruits and vegetables

  • Spinach - High in insoluble fiber, folic acid, iron, calcium, and vitamins A, C, and K1

  • Celery - Full of antioxidants and phytonutrients

  • Acai - Full of healthy fats, and a higher amount of antioxidants than blueberries
